点烟器是所有汽车都有的一个部件,用于方便车主吸烟时点烟的火源。除了可以点燃香烟以外,点烟器还承担从从汽车引电源的作用。点烟器电源一般为直流12伏,不同车型可能有所不同,中间弹性头为正极,两边卡扣为负极。它与汽车电池直接连接,电流功率等也与电池相同。

1、点烟器电源电压为1２伏，通过一条电源线引出电源之相连,有单独的保险。使用时要尽量垂直插拔，不要左右晃动，经常晃动插拔容易导致松动、短路，严重时会烧毁保险，甚至外接的电子设备。

２、点烟器的外层铁皮部分是电源的负极,中间电热丝部分是正极,插入点烟器并按动锁止，
电热片和插座正极接通，进行加热。当电热片加热完成后，卡簧会变型并释放点烟器插头,点烟器插头弹出,这时的温度足以点燃香烟,用完后把插头插回插座，电热片会自然降温。这里我们还是要提醒,为了自己和他人的健康,尽量不要在车内吸烟。
