3、外国机动车临时入境手续   
根据中国法律，临时进口机动车辆需要获得特别批准，获准临时入境的机动车入境后，应当申领临时入境机动车号牌和行驶证。
（1）办理临时入境机动车暂时进境手续
第一步：向北京奥组委提交《临时入境机动车申请表》。
北京奥组委经确认申请符合规定后，在《临时入境机动车申请表》中填写确认意见，加盖公章后提供给申请单位。
第二步：通关手续
入境地检验检疫机构凭该证明文件接受申报和办理免于CCC认证的临时进口手续。入境地海关凭北京奥组委盖章后的《临时入境机动车申请表》、入境地检验检疫机构签发的通关单和保证金或银行保函办理暂时进境手续。
（2）办理临时入境机动车号牌和临时行驶证
申请机构应于机动车辆入境后二日内到入境地或者始发地公安机关交通管理部门申领临时入境机动车号牌和行驶证。机动车辆可以凭中国海关出具的入境凭证行驶至办理地点。
4、关于办理临时驾驶许可
根据中国法律，临时入境的外国机动车驾驶人在中国道路上驾驶机动车辆需要申领临时机动车驾驶许可。
（1）申请办理临时驾驶许可
第一步：向北京奥组委提交《临时机动车驾驶许可申请表》。北京奥组委经确认申请符合规定后，在《临时机动车驾驶许可申请表》中填写确认意见，加盖公章后提供给申请人。
第二步 到当地公安交管部门提交申请材料，申领临时机动车驾驶许可。 +++
（2）临时驾驶许可的准驾车型
凭临时机动车驾驶许可，可以驾驶其自带的临时入境的机动车、租赁的中国机动车或者其外国注册机构在中国常驻机构或派出机构的中国机动车。
临时机动车驾驶许可的准驾车型应当符合申请人所持外国机动车驾驶证的准驾车型。驾驶自带临时入境机动车的，临时机动车驾驶许可的准驾车型应当与其自带机动车车型一致。驾驶租赁或外国注册机构在中国常驻机构或派出机构的中国机动车的，准驾车型为小型汽车和小型自动挡汽车。
临时机动车驾驶许可申请人的年龄应当符合中国的驾驶许可条件。申请驾驶小型汽车、小型自动档汽车、轻便摩托车临时机动车驾驶许可的，年龄应在18周岁以上，70周岁以下。
3. Temporary Admission of Motor Vehicles
北京机动车牌照申请
According to Chinese laws, the importer must obtain special approval for temporary import of motor vehicles. After the vehicle enters China, the importer must apply for a number plate and a vehicle permit.
（1）Entry procedures
Step 1：Submit the Application Form for Temporary Import of  Motor Vehicles to BOCOG
If the information in the Application Form for Temporary Import of Motor Vehicles is in accordance with relevant regulations, BOCOG will approve the application, stamp it, and return it to the applicant.
Step 2：Customs Clearance
The Inspection and Quarantine station at the point of entry will use the BOCOG stamped application form to accept the declaration and complete the procedure for import exempted from CCC (China Compulsory Certification) certification. Customs will grant release based on the BOCOG stamped application form, the customs clearance permit issued by the inspection and quarantine station, and the guarantee bond or bank guarantee.
（2）Application for a number plate and vehicle permit
The applicant must apply for a number plate and vehicle permit within two days after the vehicle enters China, either at the Traffic Administration Department of the Public Security
Authority of the place of entry or the place of departure for organized tour, competition, or other activities.. The importer may drive the vehicle to the application office with the entry certificate issued by China Customs.
4.  Temporary driving permits
According to Chinese laws, drivers of temporarily imported motor vehicles must obtain a temporary driving permit in order to drive in China.
（1）Applying for temporary driving permits
Step 1：The applicant must submit the completed Application Form for the Temporary Motor Vehicle Driving Permit to BOCOG.
If the information contained in the application is in accordance with relevant regulations, BOCOG will approve the application, stamp the form, and return it to the applicant.
Step 2: The applicant must submit the application documents to the local Public Security Traffic Administration Department for a Temporary Motor Vehicle Driving Permit.
