教材分析:
本课时从一首歌曲入手，谈论如何使用CD录音机的功能，引入话题；并引入了由if 引导的条件状语从句。
教学方法：
先通过一系列的图片学习第一单元的单词，然后进入句型的练习，再通过多种练习来巩固本单元所学的知识。并将所学知识进行先后顺序的整合，使内容由易而难，便于掌握。
教学目标:
1、知识与技能：掌握本课中的词汇；掌握if 引导的条件状语从句；能听懂谈论新科技的对话，并获取其中的主要信息；能够模仿课文的写作形式，谈论其他新科技的使用情况。

四、学习Activity3。 Listening and reading.此环节深度接触学习内容，进入学习重点之处。
1、首先提出两个问题：who recorded that Irish music? Whose recording is that? 让学生带着问题去听Activity 3。
2、再听一遍，完成Activity4的问题。使学生对整个对话内容加深理解。
3、再听一遍，完成Activity5的表格。同时也激起学生对使用CD录音机的兴趣，为以下进一步学习架设了阶梯。
4、学生对于对话内容有所了解，此时给他们一个任务，让他们自己读对话，出有关说明如何使用新科技的句子，集体朗读并板书，以培养良好的语感。
