A bus driver in Milwaukee became a hero after she saved two lost dogs and helped t reunite them with their family . The bus driver Jamie Grabowski in Milwaukee County Transit System found the two dogs running in and out of traffic around midnight on December 18 while she was finishing up her route . She worried about the animals , so she stopped the bus , opened the bus door and beckoned (召唤）the dogs inside . “You need to go home right now .. Come on ! Come inside !”she said on the bus . The two dogs got on the bus quickly .
Grabowski called dispatchers (调度员）to tell them the dogs and then played with the dogs on the bus until a police officer arrived . The officer sent the pair to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Commission . Both of the dogs were about 2 years old and they were healthy . They escaped from their home about 2.5 miles from where Grabowski found them . They were friendly to them and took good care of them just like their children . They got on well with them .
The dogs’ owners said that they searched for the dogs everywhere after they ran away . They were grateful to everyone who kept them safe . Grabowski was an animal lover and she said she was happy because she was in the right place at the right time to help the two “very good boys”. Besides, she felt it was her duty to help them . She hoped everyone could help animals to help them .
