当代汽车车身造型的显著特点之一就是利用计算机辅助几何设计,在计算机中建立三维汽车车身的模型。车身覆盖件通常是由一系列复杂的空间曲面构成,这些曲面又由不同曲率的空间曲面通过相互光滑过渡、连接而成,这种连接既要满足零件功能、结构的要求,又要达到平顺、美观、和谐的效果。
我的思路是把汽车三视图导入CatiaSketck Tracer模块;后挡风freestyle模块中用3D Curve构建汽车对应的轮廓线相交得到车身的三维轮廓线,再回到gsduni-v中用填充、扫掠、桥接曲面、多截面曲面等构面。最后用到圆角、倒角、分割、修剪等处理,车身造型完成后再统一加厚。其他部件都是用类似的方法设计的。车身总布置是在原车的基础上加以改变某些尺寸,再用CATIA的工程制图导出CAD图并加以尺寸标注。
